Intranet Development: Timberlake Cabinetry

Designed, developed, and deployed a mobile-friendly intranet to improve communications and engagement amongst the 500+ employees within the new construction channel.

Built on WordPress, access was restricted to employees using the company’s single sign-on integration.

Content was added regularly and automatically pushed to users via email depending on their preferences, role, or location to ensure relevancy.

Documents, videos, and other digital assets were hosted on our digital asset management (DAM) site and embedded on pages where necessary, allowing for accurate engagement tracking.

Why name it Watson?

Watson was chosen for three reasons:

  1. In the image of Sherlock Holmes’ trusty sidekick
  2. I felt it was important to have a human name to create connection
  3. It paid homage to a recently retired marketing employee that embodied the service mindset

Skills/tools: WordPress, Widen DAM, Mailchimp, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS
